Mini Marlins and Junior Age Group
Mini-Marlins (MM) = The MM group is comprised mainly of swimmers ages 8 and younger. It serves as the foundation of the CCA Marlins program and is a bridge from our swim lesson programs into our competitive programs. The primary focus is stroke technique in a fun and structured environment.
MM will meet two times per week on Mondays and Wednesday, from 3:45-4:25pm. We have an early MM group for families that prefer that time. Early MM Group will meet two times per week Monday and Friday 2:45-3:25pm.
MM season will be broken into 2 different courses:
#1 Short course season which means swimming in a 25 yard pool for swim meets and practices. Short course season starts on September 9th, 2024 and ends on March 28th, 2025.
#2 Long course season which means swimming in a 50 meter pool for swim meets and some of the practices. Long course season starts on April 7th, 2025 and ends on July 25th, 2025.
An additional $35 monthly fee will apply for any North Cross student pick-up and drop-off for MM
Junior Age Group (JAG) = The JAG group is comprised mainly of swimmers ages 6 through 10 years of age. This group continues to build the base of the CCA Marlins program and JAG is the next step for our MM swimmers. JAG is a great group for anyone new to year-round competitive swimming. Stroke technique will still be the foundation of this group with a slow introduction into competitive training.
JAG will meet three times per week on Monday and Wednesday, from 3:35-4:30pm, and on Saturday's 10:45-11:45 am.
JAG season will be broken into 2 different courses:
#1 Short course season which means swimming in a 25 yard pool for swim meets and practices. Short course season starts on September 9th, 2024 and ends on March 28th, 2025.
#2 Long course season which means swimming in a 50 meter pool for swim meets and some of the practices. Long course season starts on April 7th, 2025 and ends on July 25th, 2025.

Age Group Swimmers Program
Age Group Bronze (AGB) = The AGB group is the first step in our competitive Age Group swimming program. This group will continue to place an emphasis on proper stroke technique while building an aerobic base for each swimmer that will help progress them to higher age group teams. Dryland will be introduced to swimmers in this group.
AGB is comprised mainly of swimmers ages 7 through 10 years.
AGB has 4 practices a week on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday that range from 55-60 minutes in length.
AGB swimmers will compete regularly and have a 'short course' season September 3rd, 2024 - March 28th, 2025 and a 'long course' season that runs April 7th - July 28th 2025.
An additional $40 monthly fee will apply for any North Cross student pick-up and drop-off for AGB
Age Group Silver (AGS) = The AGS group is the second step in our competitive Age Group swimming program. Practices will continue to place an emphasis on proper stroke technique while building a larger aerobic base. Dryland will become more integral to the swimmers training program and swimmers will learn the value of consistency, hard work, and reward in a fun yet intense training environment.
AGS is comprised mainly of swimmers ages 9 through 13 years.
AGS has 5 practices a week on Mon, Tue,Thurs, Fri & Sat. The practices are approximately 60-105 minutes in length.
AGS swimmers will compete regularly and have a 'short course' season September 3rd, 2024 - March 28th, 2025 and a 'long course' season that runs April 7th - July 28th 2025.
Age Group Gold (AGG) = The AGG group is the highest level in our competitive Age Group swimming program. Swimmers in this group are experienced in the sport of swimming and have a strong understanding and passion for the what it takes to compete and train at a high level. The AGG group will work on mastering proper stroke technique and physical conditioning. Dryland will be an integral component to the swimmers training program.
AGG is comprised mainly of swimmers ages 11 through 14 years.
AGG has 6 practices a week on Mon-Fri & Sat. That are approximately 75-120 minutes in length.
AGG swimmers will compete regularly and have a 'short course' season September 3rd, 2024 - March 28th, 2025 and a 'long course' season that runs April 7th - July 28th 2025.
An additional $25 monthly fee will apply for our N2AthleteX Dryland Program for all AGG swimmers.
Senior Programs
Senior Development (SRD) = The SRD group is the first level in our competitive Senior swimming program. The SRD group is designed for an older aged swimmer who may be new to competitive swimming or who may have other activities that prevent them from fully committing to the higher senior levels but still wish to be apart of the competitive program. Swimmers will be expected to attend practice and competitions on a regular basis, in order to help increase one's aerobic capacity, stroke proficiency, and upward movement in the sport of swimming. Dryland training will be apart of this groups training.
SRD is composed mainly of swimmers ages 14 through 18 years.
SRD has 6 practices a week, and can elect 5 practices a week from Monday-Saturday. The practices are approximately 90-180 minutes in length.
SRD swimmers will compete regularly and have a 'short course' season September 3rd, 2024 - March 28th, 2025 and a 'long course' season that runs April 7th - July 28th 2025.
An additional $45 monthly fee will apply for our N2AthleteX Dryland Program for all SRD swimmers.
Senior Silver (SRS) = The SRS group is the second level in our competitive Senior swimming program. A strong commitment is required for admittance into this group. Physical conditioning (wet and dry) and the ability to maintain proper technique during rigorous practice sessions are the focals point for each swimmer and coach. The SRS group will be an intense training environment that is geared to reaching the highest levels in the sport of swimming. Swimmers will be required to attend practices and competitions on a regular basis, to help increase one's aerobic capacity, stroke proficiency, injury prevention and upward movement in the sport of swimming. Dryland training will be mandatory part of this groups training.
SRS is comprised mainly of swimmers ages 14 through 18 years.
SRS has 7 practices a week on Mon-Sat with AM practices during the week. The practices are approximately 90-180 minutes in length.
SRS swimmers will compete regularly and have a 'short course' season September 3rd, 2024 - March 28th, 2025 and a 'long course' season that runs April 7th - July 28th 2025.
